Question by bigtjeeper: Where do you find parts for a 1988 GMC C6000 box truck?
I have a 1988 GMC C6000 24′ Box Truck (retired Uxaul moving truck) I require brake lines proper now but I also need to know a very good source for parts in the future. Autoparts retailers don’t have trucks this size in thier database. They just scratch thier heads when I try to clarify what it is. It has a 454 gas motor so that’s not too difficult to locate parts for but every little thing else seems to be a needle in a haystack. Uxaul has a site with parts for thier old fleet but it doesn’t list something for the C6000 any longer. How about RV dealerships, may they be a source for these massive truck parts? Please Aid! I’m searching for feedback from other people with commercial vehicles or ppl in the business who fix them …. I know most of the widespread autoparts internet sites and have most of the catalogs they just do not have anything for the commercial vehicles.

I go to a www Autoone they are excellent and may possibly support you find parts the guys I speak to are gear heads as a lot as my shop
