Sounds like a fair price, what more do you expect for £1,500 / $ 3,000 ?.

That said, It would all depend on what the site currently makes in profit, the layout change might not make much difference, but if they can improve the traffic and search engine page rank then you might increase profit enough to justify it.

there should be a little plastic credit card looking thing with the manual...it will have 5 numbers on it....that is the code...

i purchased my 98 explorer 1 yr ago and it also has keyless and my friend and i searched every piece of the frame and interior for the code and it was not there...i happened to grab the book and see the card.

if the card is not there you could always contact a ford dealership in the area to see if there is a way for them to find it. this method may be a bit pricey tho

So far Rakel is the ONLY correct answer, so if I were you i would folow her instructions.
Don't forget to come back to your question & choose the "Best Answer" (aka the only right answer)

After you have your 5 digit code, you can download your owners manual (in PDF format) by clicking here:
https://web.msslib.dealerconnection.com/RightSite/getcontent/myfile.pdf?DMW_OBJECTID=09000c5880006316
The information on how to use your keyless entry code is on pages 63-66
Enjoy !

L/rear compartment opening, where spare tire jack handle is located. RAP module inside, with FIVE numbers. The five numbers are your kepad keyless entry code. You may need a small mirror for better access to see the digits.

If I remember correctly Ford products had the default numbers on the trunk or tail gate hinges, I know the Mercury's had the stickers on the hinges.

If you can't find them you will need to take the Explorer to a service tech and have them reset.

Good Luck,

@skrapinflesh I've worked with just about every style of lift there is over the past 30 plus years and a single post is no more dangerous than any other type *IF* the vehicle is racked *CORRECTLY* which this truck appears not to have been. They probably used those extensions due to the frame height and this inherently makes the vehicle more unstable, any quick or violent movement has the potential to be dangerous. I'd take a single post over a asymmetrical twin post, now THOSE are scary LOL
