My brother has a 2000 Trailblazer and does not have the keyless entry remote for the power locks. He requirements to know where in the vehicle the controller is for the keyless entry. He tells me his dad had a 2000 Trailblazer that DID have keyless entry so he’s sure this a single came with it as well. He desires to get rid of the old controller so he can purchase & install a new 1. By the way, are there remote starters that also act as keyless remote? Anyhoo, my primary query is where is the controller located? Thanx for any suggestions!

Go to the dealership, they can order a remote, he doesnt have to install a new controller. There are remote starters that has keyless entry, they are low-cost and prob require to be professionally installed. Tell him to check out best acquire, I got mine installed for like $ 50

I have a 1998 Ford Explorer and there is the keyless entry keypad on the outside of the drivers door. I dont have the factory code, does any individual know if the pin is located in the vehicle someplace or how I can uncover out were to get it??
I just bought a 1998 Ford Explorer Sport. It has a keyless entry keypad on the outside drivers door, and I dont know the code, and I dont have the owners manual that could possibly have it in there…
Is there anywhere in the auto that has the code to open the vehicle this way???

We bought a 2004 F150 and it has the keypad on the door and we were told and given the code and the small card was in with the owners manual and we had been told that we could alter it if we wanted to as nicely. Acquiring in contact with whoever you bought it from or Ford Motor Company should be in a position to give you this info.

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE. I lately bought a keyless entry remote from The Parts You Want. I just got the keyless entry with directions and the directions aren’t operating. Any recommendations???
so how do I know if my auto is equipped with keyless entry..the dealership stated it was but I in no way got a remote with it…if it is not equipped how a lot would it expense to get it equipped and if it is equipped how much would it expense to get it programmed
